Life, the Universe and Everything, the third album by Vogon Poetry is a musical journey into the world of enthralling space adventures as well as winding paths down the corridors of the mind. Catchy melodies and clever lyrics combined with the voice of John sets the Vogon Poetry atmosphere and makes for a moment of pure electro pop pleasure. This is what Vogon Poetry is all about and we hope you will join the quest searching for the answer of Life, the Universe and Everything.
On Life, the Universe and Everything you find SciFi inspired tracks such as The Heart of Gold (which is a natural followup to Hyperspace Bypass from The Prefect Stories), The Upside down, inspired by the fantastic TV-series Stranger Things & Dangers of Space, which is loosely based on a possible continuation of the movie Prometheus.
You also find more serious topics on tracks such as Children of Mine and Tomorrow which both in their separate ways ask the question of what the future will bring us.
Life, the Universe and Everything is a delicate electropop dish served with entangling melodies and the truly amazing voice of John Andersson.
The Bandcamp version includes an exclusive remix of the track Tomorrow by Glenn Main.
Vogon Poetry is stationed in Gothenburg, Sweden and consists of the three members: Roger Tell, Daniel Önnerby and John Andersson.
"Glorious synthscapes and vocals make for an amazing synthpop album that’s strongly contextualised within a sci-fi concept.
It’s a love letter to everything science-fiction, and it’s a superbly unique experience."

Some of the best synthpop I've ever come across. Soft, dark, and brooding, this whole album is just a wonder to listen to from start to finish.
In love with the synths, but the drum sound and vocals help elevate this I think, give it a very unique sound. Lascaille's Shroud

BlakLight reveals a DNA comprised of synthwave, goth, EDM, and classic synthpop. Their sound isn't limited by these genres. They take the best of each to craft music that is dark but hopeful, moody but danceable. FoxPuppy

The first thing that drew me to the band was Emma's vocals. So cool. Reminded me so much of Claudia Brucken of Propaganda (80's) fame. Wonderful tone perfect for the deep moody yet danceable synths. This is imho a top top band with so far 2 excellent albums. If you love excellent vocals, synth music, great melodies then listen in. dmyeo66
Bouncy electro-funk from the UK with a nostalgic synth palette and an experimental, slightly off-kilter approach to songwriting. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 7, 2020
